Hello, friends and family!
My dear friend Tricia Confalone and I have decided to support the Haiti Orphan Project (HOPE) by traveling to Haiti this June for a five-day mission trip.
Many of the children and families in Haiti exist in extremely poor living conditions. The Haiti Orphan Project is trying to do something to help these struggling families. By assisting with educational costs for children, bringing basic health care to the communities, and helping create jobs, these families have HOPE.
We'll be helping by spending time with the children in the orphanage. Our time will also include participating in the weekly food event, Bible lesson, and seeing the latest job creation opportunities. We want to be an encouragement and learn all we can so we may continue HOPE's efforts after we return.
